- A shoulder is an inner collar fixed to the base so the lid sits on it rather than over the full depth. It gives a tighter, more controlled fit and a visible lip.
- Why choose lid and base over a magnetic box?
- It is more economical at volume, easier to fill on a line and better for deep or heavy contents. A magnetic box is preferable when the customer will reuse the box.
- Can lid and base boxes be produced in large apparel sizes?
- Yes. Larger formats need a heavier board and reinforced corners so the box arrives square after transit.
